MONTAIGNE is one of the last brand created by the group. The collection composed of high-end jewellery, was launched at the end of 1999. It includes jewellery in 18K Gold with diamonds and precious stones. The exclusive and registered models are created and handmade according to the finest French jewellery-making traditions.
MONTAIGNE brings a fresh breath of modernity into the classical world of fine jewellery, giving a contemporary spirit while remaining strictly faithful to the line of French luxury world.
Six have been created, modern and sober. They are trendy up-to date, refined and reflects the today's woman who is multi-facetted, demanding in her choices, eclectic in her tastes.
The first collection "Isis", inspired by the Galaxy. It has the "constellation" as its theme. Gold is decked with stars, comets, moons sparkling with the fire of their diamonds, on a hand-made gold weaving.
Classics necklaces, dog collars, bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches and hand-cuffs are offered in luxurious cases. The display provides a perfect reflection of the atmosphere of luxury , top quality and voluptuouness which envelops these collections.
The "Alpha Lyr" collection : line of pure solid gold jewellery with slave necklaces, reversible "Day and Night" bracelet, wide-cuff and "middle age" rings in white, pink, and yellow gold. The "joaillerie" Swiss wath "M", entirely in 18K Gold, exclusive item, symbolizes perfectly its polished, unique and luxurious style. Swiss movment (ETA), saphire glass, extra-thin, set into a MONTAIGNE's bracelet.
In 2000, MONTAIGNE launched a fourth collection, "Symphonie" : precious music's notes are orchestrated on a golden partition, the master piece being the Ravel's Bolero.
The "Emotion" collection was introduced at the Basel Trade Show of 2000. A line where hearts with diamonds and precious stones, symbol of eternal love, are dancing on the already famous hand made 18K gold weaving design of MONTAIGNE.
MONTAIGNE was selected by the D.TC. (Diamond Trading Company, sales and marketing branch of the DeBeers Group) among the French designers with five others to be part of a national communication campaign on the diamond.
The theme was : "TRILOGY", 3 diamonds rings with a very strong symbolic content.3 Diamonds which speak of love in 3 times :
Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.
The "TRILOGY"collection perfectly illustrates the Jewelry trends of the seconds millenium with pures lines and well-balanced volumes, creating a perfect esthetism.
Finally the W.G.C. (World Gold Council) in association with the Vicenza Fiera selected a collection named : "Evocative Gold : a renaissance" gathering yellow gold jewelry representing the "top" of the worlwide gold designers. 95 companieshave been selected, among them is MONTAIGNE. Therefore the Company is among the best partners of the W.G.C. in the promotion of the Gold, center of the soul's emotions.
The collection is going around the World and is part of all the leading international exhibitions (Vicenza, Basel, New-York, Tokyo, ...).
